2010 Buick Lucerne is a sedan with the basic design of front-wheel-drive Cadillac DTS. Using the V6 engine and E85 ethanol fuel-capable flat has a 227-horsepower 3.9-liter. In 2010 Lucerne comes with some models such as CX, CXL, CXL Special Edition, CXL Premium, and Supers Sport Model. In sport use Supers model 4.6-liter V8 engine 292-horsepower with features sensors that automatically adjust the suspension. With a capacity of 6 passengers, all models use the automatic transmission with 4-speed. However, in a special edition series and Supers CXL model can accommodate only 5 seats. Also supported a variety of additional features such as antiskid system, ABS, side curtain airbags, traction control, front and side airbags.

Automatic Transmission Shift Lock Control System Check

1. Before you start, be sure you have enough room around the vehicle. It should be parked on a level surface.
2. Firmly apply the parking brake. See “Parking Brake” in the Index if necessary.
NOTE: Be ready to apply the regular brake immediately if the vehicle begins to move.
3. With the engine off, turn the key to the RUN position, but don’t start the engine. Without applying the regular brake, try to move the shift lever out of
PARK (P) with normal effort. If the shift lever moves out of PARK (P), your vehicle needs service.
